Ta GI.  Very Happy  About to download.

BTW, here are two other options to quickly find new files.  Smile

Option 1: "Files" heading and select "New Files."

Option 2: [Within a particular game's section] Click on "Date" and then select "D" (Descending) and it will list the files in that section from the latest upload, etc.

In both cases, "Huey_TW" was the first file listed.

Aw man.  CTD.  Sad

"Can't find file Maps\Objects\weapons/ak47.Z3D."

I even re-installed TW and all of its patches.

Uploaded and repaired. Give it a try. Removed the AK47 missing link. It came over from LOSV and was never needed in TW but the map still had a link to it.

Interesting map; but I had less trouble with the enemy than the pathfinding AI of the pilots. More reason to dislike escort missions. Mad

Pathfinding AI has never been a selling point for the nFusion games; but the extract zone is literally in sight.  I am not going all the way around.  I will consider this game won.   Sad

On more than one occasion, pilots went the long way around the center mesa because of a rock or tree in the trail.  Other times they created a bottleneck rather than going around a tree. The current situation is there is a large boulder and a bit of an incline in the path before leading into the village.  None of the pilots will follow me on their own and will halt.  If I do order them to follow they start heading back the way we came in order to go around.  What is the use of saving them if they are just going to go where they want?

Its quite possible you did not have this issue as you may have taken a different route to the extract zone.

Either way, I highly recommend you don't place large rocks, trees, etc on a path to avoid similar situations.  Block it if you are going to block it; but leave it open if it can be traveled.  As I stated the pathfinding AI bites.  I just hope the EWV version doesn't have the same issues.

Same here. I think i will rearrange these maps to collect items rather than collect pilots. In the EWV version i tried to get them moving by removing rocks and logs but the problem is still there in a few places. Even generated new waypoints but no good. Watch this space for new versions of the same maps Cool

Well, call it pride, vanity, or stupidity; but I had to go back and "officially" end the mission. Therefore, I was able to "Locat" the three pilots.  "Locat" is that slang in your neck of the woods?  Laughing At least twice, I stopped hearing the pitter-patter of little feet behind me only to see on the map that my charges had taken the scenic route.  It wouldn't bother me; but there is always the chance of running into someone they can't handle. Speaking of which, it was almost as if those shotguns were using slugs as there was like zero dispersion.

My two-pence worth ... collecting an item rather than a pilot is possibly the easiest option since you would not have to redo the map.  It would definitely lessen the frustration; but at the same time it removes a lot of the challenge.  I admit I am not a fan of escort missions and as frustrating as they may be;  the "Hold" and "Follow" commands would have sufficed for the three pilots if not for obstructions in the paths causing the previously mentioned pathfinding issues.

Huey has been updated to remove the pilots and replace them with 3 objects to collect. The only thing is the enemy are carrying them  Twisted Evil
Strictly speaking you only have to eliminate the enemy to make them drop the objects, worked out well as i have rarely used this kind of objective.
